This element of the Lifestyle Matters programme explores the relationship between activity and mental wellbeing. Potential sessions include sleep, keeping mentally active, memory and managing stress. Throughout these sessions participants are given space to build understanding of how what we do impacts on how we feel and of the importance of keeping mentally well.
Within this aspect of the programme there is the opportunity to break down isolation, acknowledge emotions and provide the space for individuals to explore potential ways of coping. Participants are helped to recognise their personal resilience, drawing upon each other for support.
